In this context, it encourages the interest in North Macedonia as an attractive destination for business, investment, tourism and education. In addition, the Sector works towards affirming our values and cultural attributes by initiating and implementing international cultural cooperation while developing intercultural dialogue, understanding and cooperation not only with state institutions operating in the field of culture but also on a more broader level such as with the civil sector, cultural-information centres, foreign language offices and honorary consuls in the country and abroad. The Sector also focuses on establishing and strengthening ties with the Diaspora, primarily towards preserving their cultural and linguistic identity, through implementing summer camp concepts, project funding under MFA public calls and sending Macedonian language teachers, as well as stimulating the interest of the Diaspora to become actively involved in the overall socio-economic development of our country.
