The representatives of foreign media in Republic of North Macedonia may be provided with permanent and temporary accreditation..
1. Permanent Accreditation
Permanent accreditation is valid for one year and it may be given to the reporters who stay in Republic of North Macedonia. For acquiring permanent accreditation the following documents are required::
- Filled form
- Original letter signed by the editor-in-chief or manager of the media accompanied with a request for accreditation of the reporter. The letter should contain the name of the reporter, their duty within the media, contact telephones, fax, e-mail, address and number of press card.
- Professional biography
- Copy of a valid ID document (passport or ID for EU citizens)
The accreditation procedure lasts 15 days.
2. In order to prolong the validity of the accreditation, the following documents are required
- Filled form
- Original letter signed by the editor-in-chief or manager of the media requesting prolongation of the accreditation. The letter should contain the same information as for the first accreditation
- Photograph in electronic form
- Old accreditation card
3. Temporary Accreditation
Temporary accreditation is valid 30 days (3 months if an exception is made). It is provided for foreign press teams that stay in Republic of North Macedonia for a short period. In order to obtain temporary accreditation the following documents are required::
- Filled form
- Original letter sent from the media explaining the objective of the visit
- Short programme for the visit
- Photograph in electronic form
- Copy of the passport
- Contact telephones
4. Accreditation of the freelance reporters
- Copy of published articles
- International press card or other document (contract etc.) confirming that they work in journalism
- Photograph in electronic form
- Copy of a passport
