FM Nikola Dimitrov met today with Ivo Vajgl, member of the European Parliament and Special Rapporteur of the Parliament on the Republic of North Macedonia, paying a working visit to Skopje.

 

At the invitation of the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia, Miroslav Lajcak, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Dimitrov will take part tomorrow (28 May 2019) in the meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Visegrad Group and the Western Balkan countries.

 

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Miloslav Stašek paid a visit to the Republic of North Macedonia on 22 May 2019 during which he met with his host, the State Secretary of the MFA, Viktor Dimovski.

 

Dear Teodor, Minister Meleșcanu,

Thank you so much for the kind invitation to pay an official visit to Romania, as you said, my first. It is a privilege to be here in critical timing for us. I’m going to be brief, I’m going to essentially brief the Romanian public as to what North Macedonia is about. And second I will talk a little bit about our bilateral relations.

At the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Teodor Meleșcanu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia Nikola Dimitrov paid an official visit to Romania on 21 and 22 May 2019.

 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Dimitrov, held a farewell meeting today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to the Republic of North Macedonia, resident in Belgrade, Pertti Ikonen.

 

The working visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Dimitrov to Tallinn, Estonia, continued with the participation in this year’s Lennart Meri Conference, titled “One Past, Many Futures.”

 

The fourth meeting of the Joint Inter-Disciplinary Committee of Experts on historic, archaeological and educational issues (JICE), established in accordance with Article 8, par. 5 of the Prespes Agreement was held in Ohrid on the 17th and 18th May 2019.

 

As part of today's activities for the working visit to Tallinn, Minister Dimitrov was received by Estonian Prime Minister Jüri Ratas, met with his Estonian counterpart, Urmas Reinsalu, and addressed the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Estonian Parliament.
