Today in Prilep and Bitola on joint ceremonies the Day of Armistice of WW1, 11th November, was marked.



Today in NATO’s premises in Brussels the newly appointed Ambassador of Republic of Macedonia to NATO, Zoran Dabik, had his first meeting with NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg and presented the letter of credence.


Today MFA Nikola Poposki hosted the Ambassador of the State of Israel to Republic of Macedonia, resident in Jerusalem, Dan Oryan.


Today Minister Poposki met Stefan Lehne, visiting scholar within Carnegie Europe Institute in Brussels. The focus of their discussions was the European agenda of Republic of Macedonia especially the reform processes of the Western Balkan countries.


Today, on 10th November 2014, in the premises of the Foreign Ministry of Republic of Macedonia, a promotional event was held for the possibilities of participation of subjects from Republic of Macedonia in the programmes of the International Visegrad Fund for Co-operation with the Western Balkan countries, intended for NGOs and administration.

Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Poposki held a meeting with the Chairman of NATO Military Committee, General Knud Bartels who is paying a two-day working visit to the Republic of Macedonia.

Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki at the invitation of the German Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the British Prime Minister Philip Hammond, participated at the Sixth Conference of the Foreign Minister of South-Eastern Europe organized by the renowned German-American Institute “Aspen” in Berlin.

Today Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki gave speech in the City Library “Braka Miladinovci” in Skopje on the occasion of opening Hungarian Literature Corner in the premises of the library and the opening of the exhibition of posters “Vishegrad Karma”.



The Republic of Macedonia strongly condemns the terrorist attacks on Egyptian military positions by militant forces in the Sinai Peninsula, in the Arabic Republic of Egypt, committed on 24 October 2015, in which 31 soldier from the Egyptian army lost their lives.

The Republic of Macedonia is actively involved in the global fight against terrorism.

Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki met his host, the Minister of Foreign and European affairs of the Slovak Republic, Miroslav Laichak and the newly appointed Foreign Minister of Republic of Poland, Gzegoz Shetina.
