Today, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dragana Kiprijanovska, met with the new rapporteur of the European Parliament on Macedonia, Mr. Ivo Vajgl, who is paying a working visit to Macedonia so that he can better acquaint himself with the status of the accession and reform processes of Macedonia prior to preparing the Resolution on Macedonia for the European Parliament.

Today Deputy Foreign Minister Mrs. Dragana Kiprijanovska hosted a delegation from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by the deputy Director of the Directorate for Europe, Mr. Ola Svenningsson.


On 4 December 2014, the Minister of State for Cultural and Science Diplomacy at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and trade, István Íjgyártó, paid a working visit to the Republic of Macedonia.


Today at NATO HQ MFA of Republic of Macedonia, Nikola Poposki, took participation at the meeting of the countries-supporters of the global coalition in the fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant. He was invited by the US Secretary of State, John Kerry.


On 2nd December, within the frames of the visit of the high delegation led by Deputy President of Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Doan to Republic of Macedonia, Deputy MFA Dragana Kiprijanovska had a separate meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vu Hong Nam.

Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs accompanied by the representatives of the diplomatic missions to Republic of Macedonia, the mayor of the city of Skopje, representatives of the municipality of Aerodrom, planted trees in the settlement Novo Lisiche. Supporting the strong efforts of the Government of Republic of Macedonia in providing better quality of the environment and improvement of the health of its citizens, they joined and supported 14th Fall Action “Tree Day – Plant Your Future” that this year is taking place under the motto “Stop for Disasters”.

Today Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki at NATO HQ in Brussels took participation at the Ministerial Meeting within the North-Atlantic Council with the countries-contributors in the mission “Resolute Support”.


On 2 December, 2014, Minister Poposki delivered his address before the members of the European Parliament and the members of the national Parliaments of EU member states. Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina were also in attendance and addressed the Committee.

On 29th and 30th November in Dakar, Republic of Senegal, MFA Nikola Poposki took participation at 15th Summit of Frankophonie on the topic: Women and Youth – Vectors of Peace and Actors in Development.


Today, Minister Poposki met with the Permanent representatives – Ambassadors of member countries of the European Council in Brussels and the representatives of the European commission. The meeting was hosted by Permanent representative of Hungary to EU, Péter Györkös.
