The World in North Macedonia

On 11 July 2015 the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Slovenia was opened in the Republic of Macedonia, seated in Ohrid, as confirmation of the long-running constructive cooperation and sincere friendship between the two countries.

 

Today, the Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Macedonia, stationed in Sofia, H.E. Mr. Lkhamsuren Dugerjav, officially opened the Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in the Republic of Macedonia.

 

On May 13, DMFA Kiprijanovska attended the workshop titled “Building a Cyber Resilient Society in SEE” held in Ohrid and organised by the RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation from Zagreb and the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski” .

 

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dragana Kiprijanovska, met today with the Executive Director of the NGO Solidarity Fund Poland, Krzystztof Stanowski, former Under-Secretary of State in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in charge of development aid and support.

 

At the invitation of the Ambassador of Slovakia to the Republic of Macedonia, Minister Poposki attended a working breakfast this morning with the Ambassadors of the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary, which is traditionally organized by the current chair of the Visegrad Group.

 

Today, 27th February 2015, the State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Elena Kuzmanovska and the Ambassador of Hungary to Republic of Macedonia, Jozef Brance, executed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Macedonia and Hungary for enhancement of the expert cooperation in the area of Euro-integrations.
 

A climate challenge open to all citizens of Macedonia has been launched by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Embassy of Sweden, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID),

 

At the invitation of the Liaison Office of NATO to Republic of Macedonia a team from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated at the annual Bowling Tournament. The tournament took place on 11th February 2015 in the City Mall Bowling alley.

 

On Thursday, 5th February 2015, the first Slovak-Macedonian Dictionary was promoted. On the promotion Minister of Culture Elizabeta Kancheska Milevska and the Slovak Ambassador to Macedonia, Martin Bezak, underlined that this lexicographic work will deepen the cultural relations between the two people and will inspire cooperation and communication.
