Starting today, the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia and Ukraine, holders of biometric passports, will be able to travel visa-free to and from both countries.

The visa-free regime covers short-term stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

This is due to the entry into force of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the Conditions of Mutual Travel of Citizens, signed by FM Nikola Dimitrov and Ukrainian Ambassador Natalia Zadoroznyuk on July 12, 2019 and ratified by the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia on November 6, 2019.
