On this occasion, FM Dimitrov said: "The accelerated European integration of the Western Balkans will lead to increased trust among neighbours and predictability of regional developments.  We are interdependent. Good news from one country help the whole region. Bad news hurt the region. We have the opportunity to achieve a global breakthrough in the field of regional cooperation. To continue to compete in terms of reforms, but also to work on interpersonal connections, free movement of people, goods and services, as well as on the deepening of the sectoral cooperation and the areas which move us forward.  We have to find modalities so as to stimulate interconnectedness and to provide conditions for the youth to prosper at home, in a European region in their own right. To invest our efforts and by setting a good example to re-brand the region, its image and how we are perceived from beyond our borders.”

At the meeting, the priorities of the Chairmanship were presented and opinions were exchanged on the perspectives of regional cooperation within this format.
