On Monday, 13 May, as of 11.30 AM, the Deputy Minister Andrej Zernovski will participate in the official 20 year celebration of the International Organization for Migration-IOM's mission in this country.  The Republic of North Macedonia became an IOM member in 2014, while prior to that the country had an observer status.


The purpose of this joint event is to mark two decades since the beginning of IOM's mission in the country and note the achievements thereafter. As part of the event, Minister Ademi and IOM Regional Director, Argentina Sabadosh will sign a memorandum of cooperation related to cooperation in terms of the Diaspora.

Aside from the Deputy Minister, Edmond Ademi, the Minister without portfolio in charge of Diaspora Affairs, Argetina Sabadosh, IOM Regional Director for Southeast Europe, East Europe and Central Asia; Rossana Dudziak, UN Resident Coordinator; Peter Van der Auweraert, IOM Sub-regional Coordinator for the Western Balkans as well as Sonja Bozinovska Petrushevska, head of IOM's office in the country will also give their address at the official ceremony.
