North Macedonia in the World

On 20 May at the Ballroom of the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Macedonia and Poland was marked with the authentic music project "Makedonissimo" of Simon Trpcheski and friends (Aleksandar Krapovski on violin, Aleksandar Somov on cello, Hidan Mamudov on clarinet/saxophone, Vlatko Nushev, percussionist and clarinetist Risto Gjorevski, who are on their Polish tour). The audience in the packed hall enjoyed the sounds of Macedonian music in the arrangement of our composer Pande Shahov. The concert, which is also a part of the programme marking the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence, sparked a lot of attention, and the musicians were rewarded with standing ovations.
