MINISTER MILOŠOSKI PAYS AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO THE REPUBLIC OF ALBANIA Skopje, 8 Febryary 2010 year
On February, 8, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, Antonio Milošoski paid an official visit to Tirana at the invitation of the Albanian chief of diplomacy, Ilir Meta.
Apart from the discussion with his host, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, Antonio Milošoski met the President of the Republic of Albania, Bamir Topi, the Chairperson of the Assembly of the Republic of Albania, Jozefina Topalli and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Sali Berisha.
The intensification of the cooperation between the two countries was discussed at the meetings, both sides producing the general assessment that the bilateral relations are good and are progressively being further intensifyied and improved, particularly in the field of economy.
As part of the visit, Ministers Milošoski and Meta signed a Protocol for Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, as well as a Protocol for Cooperation between the Directorate for Diplomatic Education at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia and the Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania.
Apart from the official meetings, Minister Milošoski also delivered a lecture on the Euro-Atlantic perspectives of the countries in the Region for the participants of the Diplomatic Academy of the Republic of Albania. |
